JUMCO has adapted an environmentally friendly approach for all activities in CJUP, starting with the environmentally friendly green campsite, where the use of solar power is present and the treated sewage water is used for the irrigation of plants within the campsite creating a green spot in the middle of the desert making it a haven for a large number of the local birds and many wildlife forms.

The exploration activities also embraced the environmental awareness in each step of the process in the excavation, borehole drilling, sampling, and exploration site rehabilitation.

The Uranium Extraction Pilot plant was designed to be environmentally friendly and to limit the impact of the extraction process on the environment. JUMCO implements a control system to manage process tailings, Process water, and various other aspects regarding current and future activities.
